The Okuma GLS Steelhead rods are built with light and responsive 30-ton carbon rod blanks which are designed with actions that salmon and steelhead fishermen require. The two casting versions feature a spiral wrap guide configuration. The Dual Helix wrap design with over 6000 strands of carbon thread keeps these rods strong and light. The GLS series feature Okuma UMR rod tip technology that reduces weight and increases strength.
